Steven has been involved in local government and community development for 20+ years - working with broadband, planning, zoning, GIS, stormwater management and transportation in the Counties of Botetourt, Montgomery and Franklin. He currently serves as Assistant County Administrator with Franklin County where he oversees the County’s Development Services functions, Public Safety, Libraries and Broadband efforts. Steven also currently serves on Virginia’s Broadband Advisory Council.

Steven earned his B.S. in Natural Resource Management from North Carolina State University and has a Master’s in Urban and Regional Planning from Virginia Tech.
