Ray LaMura
President, VCTA - Broadband Association of Virginia
Since 2005, Ray has served as the President of the Virginia Cable Telecommunications Association, the state trade association representing Virginia’s cable industry. Ray’s principle responsibilities are representing Virginia’s cable industry before members of the Virginia General Assembly and the United States Congress.
Ray serves as a board member on the Governor’s Rural Broadband Advisory Council, the Virginia TeleHealth Network, the Virginia Utility Protection Services Board of Directors, and the Virginia State Corporation Committee’s (SCC) Public Affairs Committee on Utility Safety Awareness.
Prior to joining the VCTA, Ray was the Vice President of Government Affairs for the Virginia Bankers Association. Ray is a graduate from Mary Washington College, with a BA in Economics.
